It is a food hall with local vendors under one roof, indoor and outdoor seating, fire pits, and live music on Friday nights. You can bounce between a few different spots in one visit, which makes it an easy call when nobody in the group can agree on dinner.
Jack Stack Barbecue put a location right in City Center, and it carries one of the biggest patios of any Jack Stack. That indoor-outdoor patio feel runs through the whole district, honestly. Restaurants spill out onto the sidewalks, patios everywhere, fire pits going. It is built to be walked around, not just parked at.
And I have to give you one personal pick that sits just west of City Center. Silo Modern Farmhouse, over at Canyon Farms. Farm-to-table food, floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the golf course, and one of the better patios in the whole metro. If you only try one restaurant near here, make it that one.
